Columbia River Catch & Keep Sturgeon, Winter Walleye – Our Columbia River keeper sturgeon fishery opens January 1st and we expect it to run for about 6 weeks. This is a very popular fishery so don’t wait too long to book. Catch rates are usually very high with a lot of great action. We also are booking winter walleye starting now and running into the spring. Both of these fisheries take place below John Day Dam near the town of Rufus, OR.
