SMALLMOUTH BASS FISHING GUIDES
Snake & Grande Ronde Rivers
There are plenty of Smallmouth Bass to catch in the Snake and Grande Ronde River Canyons.
Smallmouth fishing peaks around June and continues into early September. It is not uncommon to catch over 100 fish a day. Most fish average around 8” to 15” in size with the occasional 15” to 24” fish chomping on your lure. The best thing about bass fishing is the weather. The weather in the spring and summer can be beautiful with temperatures ranging from 80 to 100 degrees. Along with bass, you will catch some very nice Rainbow Trout.
We offer two different fishing trips for bass
Depending on water flows and the time of year. The first is your standard Jet boat trip working the pockets and shoreline of the Snake River. The second is a drift boat trip down the Grande Ronde. Our Smallmouth Bass Fishing Guides can accommodate whatever trip you desire to take. Both trips offer great chances of catching some really awesome fish!
Dworshak Reservoir
Dworshak Reservoir offers a unique and challenging fishing experience.
This reservoir is very large, extending 60 miles into the Idaho backcountry. It is a very deep reservoir with steep banks which can cause uncertainty in both novices and professionals alike. Knowing what structure to target, and when is the key here.
Huge Bass
If you time it right, you can be hooked into some of the largest Smallmouth Bass in the country. Generally, we see the bigger bass caught in the spring, but fishing well into summer and fall never fails to keep your rod tips dancing. If trying for your personal best smallie is on your bucket list, contact us or visit our Dworshak page for more information.
